I thought this cigar showed really nice flavors and was incredibly balance but just lacked some qualities that I want in a high end limited cigar.

A very filling cigar, with the familiar AVO earthiness and body. the flavors ,for me, included maple, pepper, and a mystery note that I did not identify. a very good cigar overall.

This was an average smoke. I heard people rave about the LE 10 but this one didn't live up to that cigar's hype. This wasn't a terrible cigar but nothing special for a Limited Edition at a high price point (mine was a gift at least).

Incredible smoke. Balanced and smooth. Perfect burn an great flavor. The price point can be a hindrance but is not high for such quality.

I thought the AVO 85th had a great balance; surprising strength balanced out by an array of dark syrupy flavors that soak down deep into your palate.

This cigar lived up to all of the hype. I've smoked more Avo LE10s than this at the time of the writing, so it's unfair to compare the Avo LE11 to my 2010 Cigar of the Year. The Avo LE11 is a very different experience than the Avo LE10, but this is to be expected as its a completely different blend. This is a high priced cigar, but it provides everything a cigar with a $17.50 SRP should provide.
